Note: To use the image tag, Homey v2.2.0 and Homey app v2.4.0 are required.
If you have a device connected to Homey which is able to generate an image, you can use this image in your Flows.
1. Open the Homey Smartphone App and tap on Flow
Tap on Flow to open the Flow editor and start creating your first Flows
2. Add an event
Flows in Homey work via a when - and - then principle. First, you need to define an event or action that will start your flow. For example, a point in time or a button that has been pushed. Tap Add card to browse to the different options you have for starting your Flow. Once you have found the correct card, click on it to set it up. Once completed tap on ✔ to save this card.
3. Add additional conditions
Maybe you want the Flow to execute only when certain environmental conditions are true. For example, a certain time or only when you are at home. To add this condition swipe up so the "And" group opens up. Tap Add card to add a condition to the "And" group. Once you have found the correct card, click on it to set it up. Once completed tap on ✔ to save this card.
Keep in mind that it is not mandatory to add an extra condition to a Flow.
4. Add an action
To complete your Flow you need to add an action to it. There are a lot of things you can add as an action. For example, let Homey speak, turn lights to a certain color, change the temperature, and many things more. To add an action, swipe up to open the "then" group. Tap Add card to add a condition to the "And" group. Once you have found the correct card, click on it to set it up. Once completed tap on ✔ to save this card.
5. Image tag
If you connected a camera to Homey you are able to implement snapshots into your Flow. To send a push notification with an image, tap on Mobile and tap on Send a push image. Make sure you select the image tag in your Flow by clicking on the tag and select the correct image tag of your camera. As an extra you can enter a message which will be send with the image tag.
